Kaylee Day, MD

Kaylee Day, MD was born in Tallahassee, FL and was raised in the small town of Perry, FL. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Florida State University in 2016. While earning her undergraduate degree, she was a Garnet Girl Cheerleader and worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in Internal Medicine. Dr. Day then taught Biology for the FSU CoM SSTRIDE program the year before starting medical school at the Florida State University College of Medicine. During medical school, Kaylee served on the executive boards for the Florida Rural Health Association and the Christian Medical Association.

Dr. Day chose to pursue family medicine to help meet the great need for primary care in Florida, serving patients of all ages and genders in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She looks forward to continuing to grow and learn at the TMH Family Medicine Residency Program so that she can return to the rural Florida panhandle fully equipped to practice full-scope family medicine.

In her spare time, Kaylee enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Dr. Brian Day, MD, and playing with their dog, Huxley. Together they enjoy hunting, fishing, floundering, and being with family.
