About Me
Jeremy Maxwell, MD was born in Jamaica and migrated to the US when he was 14 years old. He received his undergraduate degree at Baylor University (Sic’em Bears!) and then attended the University of the West Indies in Jamaica where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery degree. After graduating, he worked as a general practitioner for four years in various public health clinics in rural Jamaica.
Dr. Maxwell enjoys building relationships and providing continuity of care with patients of all ages. He is excited to join the TMH Family Medicine Program where he hopes to strengthen his skills and broaden his medical knowledge to serve the Tallahassee community, his new home.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Alexandra and kitties, Zoë and Lily. Dr. Maxwell also enjoys playing and watching sports, going to the beach, and exploring new cuisines.
