About Me
Justin McFall, MD was born and raised in the Bahamas. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Florida State University (FSU). He went on to earn his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of the West Indies, spending time at campuses in both Jamaica and the Bahamas.
Dr. McFall developed a strong affinity for family medicine while in medical school. He was specifically interested in primary care and preventative medicine, and the improved quality of life both provide. He knew he wanted to pursue this field, but his passion for helping underserved populations led him to take up a position in the surgical department at a small hospital in the Northern Bahamas.
During his time there Dr. McFall cared for countless patients, many of whom hadn’t visited a doctor’s office in years. He found that the lack of primary care was one of the main causes their medical and surgical conditions and used these interactions to counsel his patients on lifestyle modification and preventative medicine. This further reinforced his passion for family medicine.
Dr. McFall is thrilled to return to Tallahassee and to join the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. He plans on gaining further knowledge and honing a skillset that will ultimately allow him to deliver quality primary care.
In his spare time, Dr. McFall enjoys watching and playing sports, fishing, swimming, traveling, playing dominoes and spending time with family and friends.
