September 25, 2024 – 12:30 pm Update

In preparation for the impacts of Hurricane Helene, Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare has made the following changes to services:

Closings

Urgent Care Center in Southwood and Urgent Care Center on Tennessee Street are closing early at 6pm, Wednesday, September 25. Tallahassee Memorial Urgent Care Center on the main campus (Medical Drive) will be open until 9pm, Wednesday, September 25.

All TMH Physician Partners practices and Urgent Care Centers will be closed on Thursday in all counties. Patients will receive a phone call to reschedule appointments.

TMH Urgent Care in Panama City Beach plans to reopen on Friday depending on local conditions. An update will be shared following the storm.

All outpatient procedures at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital scheduled for Thursday and Friday are being rescheduled. Patients will receive a phone call to reschedule their procedure.

Visiting a Patient

To ensure patient and colleague safety, we are making modifications to our regular visiting hours and processes. As of 7 PM Wednesday, Sept. 26, patients will be limited to one visitor at a time, and all visitors must check-in through the Information Desk. We will limit overnight visitors to one visitor per patient. End-of-life situations will be addressed as needed.  

Hospital access

Main Hospital: Park in P2/P3 and enter through the Dozier Atrium.  
M.T. Mustian Center: Park in P2/P3 and enter through the Dozier Atrium.  
Brickler Women’s Pavilion: Park in P5 and enter through the Women’s Pavilion entrance.
