Tropical Storm Debby Update
August 5, 2024TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Monday, August 5, 2024) On behalf of the leadership team at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH), we thank our colleagues and community partners for their exemplary service and collaboration in response to Hurricane Debby.
While the immediate Tallahassee area was spared the worst of the storm, our thoughts are with our neighbors to the east where Debby came ashore.
TMH is now transitioning to normal operations and plans to resume elective surgeries and procedures on Tuesday, August 6.
Our team members have been contacting patients to reschedule appointments and procedures canceled on Monday, August 5, due to the expected impact of Debby. If you have questions regarding your care, please reach out directly to your provider.
In addition, all Urgent Care Centers, Walk-In Clinics and TMH Physician Partners practices will be open normal business hours on Tuesday, August 6, with the following exceptions:
TMH Physician Partners – Primary Care in Monticello is currently without power. We plan to have a generator in place, if needed, and reopen the practice at approximately 10 am Tuesday, August 6.
TMH Physician Partners - Primary Care in Perry will remain closed on Tuesday, August 6 and is scheduled to reopen Wednesday, August 7.
As always, our main hospital and emergency centers remained fully operational and prepared to meet the needs of our patients and community during the storm.
