About Me
Del Carter, MD was born and raised in rural Bloomfield, Indiana. He attended the University of Florida (UF), where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees. He served as the Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP) Student Director for the University of Florida College of Medicine during his final year of medical school. Dr. Carter has interests in health policy, advocacy and leadership. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, listening to country music, watching movies, UF men’s basketball and Tampa Bay Rays baseball and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Carter is thrilled to be a part of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
