About Me
Ann Marie Brown, MD grew up in Hosford, FL and graduated from Liberty County High School. After obtaining her Associate in Arts degree from Chipola College, she earned both her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University. During medical school, Ann Marie served as President of the Florida Rural Health Association, and she also served on the executive boards of both the Christian Medical Association and the Medical Respect for Life Organization.
Ann Marie has always had a love for rural medicine and a desire to practice medicine close to her hometown. While completing her medical education at FSU College of Medicine, Ann Marie opted into the rural track and performed her third-year clinical rotations at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, FL, an experience that further cultivated her interest in rural medicine. Her interests in primary care, procedures, sports medicine, obstetrics, and preventative medicine, as well as her desire to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings and treat patients of all ages, naturally led her to find her home in Family Medicine. She is thankful to be completing her residency training close to home at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in the same hospital that she was born in.
In her free time, Ann Marie enjoys spending time with her family, attending church, hunting, fishing, and going to the beach.
