About Me
Dr. Bartlomiej was born and raised in the small city of Tomaszow Lubelski, Poland. He graduated from the Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland, in July 2020. Since then, he has been working and gaining experience in multiple clinical settings in Europe and the USA, including the Mayo Clinic and Columbia University. At the beginning of 2021, just a few months after his graduation, he was a first-line medical responder during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, after the outbreak of the war, he volunteered as a physician at a medical point for Ukrainian war refugees in his hometown, where he was responsible for treating patients and recruiting international physicians to work at similar medical points throughout Poland.
He moved to Tallahassee with his wife, Dominika, who is also a TMH Internal Medicine Program resident, and their dog, a Jack Russell Terrier named Bolek. He immediately fell in love with the people and the city itself. He is very proud to be a part of the TMH Family Medicine Program, where he will have the opportunity and the privilege to serve the community and help those in need.
He commits his spare time to being a good husband and dog dad. His dedication and diligence have helped him master his bread-baking and coffee-making skills. He always starts the day with a cup of homemade espresso and a slice of sourdough bread of his own making. Additionally, he is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, including a diet and all kinds of activities like going to the gym, jogging, hiking, and bicycle riding.
He always looks forward to learning from others and is very eager to constantly develop his professional and personal skills. He believes that someday he will be able to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a missionary physician.
