About Me
Nick Kacheris, MD is grateful to train at the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program alongside his beautiful bride, Julianna Kacheris, MD. He earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees from Florida State University (FSU) as a product of the Science Students Together Reaching Instructional Diversity & Excellence (SSTRIDE) and Bridge Programs at the FSU College of Medicine (FSU COM).
As a fourth-year medical student, Dr. Kacheris was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Also during his time at FSU, he was blessed to have received the FSU COM Mission Scholarship Award, the Capital Health Plan Scholarship Award and the Durell Peaden Rural Scholarship Award. After graduating medical school, Dr. Kacheris completed a year of general surgery training at the historic University of Illinois Hospital.
Dr. Kacheris was drawn to the rural, underserved, pediatric and obstetric focus of TMH’s Family Medicine Residency Program. He looks forward to serving his patients in Tallahassee and the surrounding counties, as well as those on global mission trips, in the future. He views medicine as a calling and is a true family man. His interests include reading his Bible, Florida State Football, fishing, hunting, good food and good people.
