About Me
Dr. Brittney Bennett, MD, is from the beautiful island of Jamaica, where she grew up in a close-knit family of four. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the West Indies Mona Campus, after which she gained valuable experience as a junior physician in various inpatient and outpatient settings.
Transitioning to Grenada, Dr. Bennett took on the role of Clinical Instructor at St. George’s University, School of Medicine, contributing to the education of the next generation of physicians.
Driven by her desire to make a meaningful difference, Dr. Bennett has been actively involved in leadership roles within local charities in Jamaica and Grenada, focusing on serving the underserved and promoting health education.
Dr. Bennett believes that Family Medicine provides the perfect opportunity to work with diverse patients across all age groups. She especially loves the continuity of care and being able to provide personalized care to her patients by seeing them through the different stages of their life. She is interested in women’s health, preventative medicine, and academic medicine.
Excited about the opportunity to work at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Dr. Bennett believes she will receive top-notch training providing her with the necessary skillset to become a multifaceted Family Physician, serving as a trusted medical home for her patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bennett enjoys exploring different cuisines, baking, and spending quality time with her "son" (her puppy) and loved ones.
