About Me
A lifelong Floridian, Emily has a deep passion for the natural landscapes of her home state. An avid adventurer, she has explored Florida through kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and sailing. Emily holds a BA from New College of Florida and an MD from Tulane University. Her diverse experiences include working in publishing, hitchhiking around the world, and living on a sailboat in the Gulf of Mexico with her husband Haden. She is a devoted student of Nonviolent Communication, and is committed to fostering deep connections with her patients. Emily is mother to Robin, age 4, and Katy, age 2.
