Simone Bronzato, MD

Simone Bronzato, MD is originally from Brazil, where she graduated from medical school, completed a residency in internal medicine and then a fellowship in critical care. Her entire professional life in Brazil was dedicated to the public health system, and those years made her more sensitive to disparities in healthcare. During her years working in the ICU, she had meaningful experiences by building relationships with her patients and discovered a deep resource of empathy. Dr. Bronzato believes medicine is more than a formidable science; it is all about compassion and caring.

In 2018, Dr. Bronzato moved to the U.S. with her husband and the most enriching experience of her life began. In this new country that now she calls home, she felt inspired to pursue a medical career to generate a positive impact on other people’s lives.

From the beginning, she knew that family medicine would best fulfill her because it meets her values and vision on integrating a comprehensive, broad scope care. She is grateful to be part of the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare team and excited to continue building upon her medical skills to better serve her patients by providing high-quality, whole-person care.

Dr. Bronzato is married to Heitor and is a mom to two amazing little girls, Melissa and Nicole, who spark her life with joy and inspire her to be a better version of herself every day. She loves to care for plants and is passionate about orchids. She also loves writing, crafts and listening to bossa nova.
