44th Annual Spring Garden Party

April 24, 2025

To benefit patients at the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center

Each year, the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center diagnoses and treats more than 2,100 new cancer cases. The goal of the annual Spring Garden Party is to raise funds to provide local cancer patients with additional comforts not provided by the hospital or cancer center as they go through their treatments.

Give Now

Over the years, Garden Party proceeds have provided a variety of benefits for area cancer patients, such as:

  • Music, art, and massage therapy and virtual reality headsets to provide a calming, positive and comfortable environment while patients receive chemotherapy treatments.
  • 31 sleeper chairs in every room in the Angie Deeb Cancer Unit in the main hospital for family members to use so they may stay and take care of their loved one who is sick or in pain.
  • An IV fluid warmer for chemotherapy patients in the Outpatient Infusion Center and a blanket warmer for radiation patients to provide comfort and warmth.
  • A Wig Program providing free wigs to those who lose hair from chemotherapy or radiation.
  • Warm robes given to new radiation patients and blankets for new chemotherapy patients, instead of wearing an “open back” hospital gown.
  • Writing tablets for head and neck cancer patients unable to speak due to chemotherapy or radiation, so they can communicate with loved ones and our staff about their needs.
  • Extra-large water bottles for chemotherapy patients to remind them the importance of adequate fluid intake.

Please join us to bring comfort to our cancer patients when they need it most.
