At Tallahassee Memorial, we’re committed to serving our patients, colleagues and community in an ethical and honest manner.
What is Corporate Compliance?
Our Corporate Compliance team supports TMH’s ICARE values of Integrity and Excellence by ensuring we do the right things in the right ways. Their job is to prevent any illegal or unethical behavior, stop and fix such behavior and respond to concerns and inquiries regarding:
- Fraud, waste or abuse
- Non-compliance with laws, rules and regulations
- Non-compliance with TMH policies under which we operate
- Violations of our Code of Conduct and Business Practice Guide
How to Contact Corporate Compliance
We encourage our colleagues to bring forward information and/or complaints about potential violations. Colleagues who would like to report a concern can:
- Call our Corporate Compliance Office at 850-431-COMP (2667),
- Email Compliance@TMH.ORG,
- Submit a Risk Management portal event in the Healthcare Safety Zone Portal found on SPARK, or
- Call the confidential, toll-free Compliance Helpline at 1-877-772-6723.
If you feel comfortable doing so, colleagues are encouraged to resolve issues, whenever possible, by talking with your supervisor, department manager or any member of the TMH executive leadership team.
Callers using the Compliance Helpline may remain anonymous. All information shared will be held in confidence to the fullest extent possible and/or allowed by law. No retribution or retaliatory actions may be taken against a colleague for reporting suspected violations.
