For Participants

At Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH), an Institutional Review Board (IRB) reviews research studies that involve people before the research can start.

If you are a research participant, you may contact the TMH IRB, anonymously if you wish, for the following:

  • questions or concerns about your role and rights as a research participant
  • to obtain information or offer suggestions
  • to register a complaint about a specific study
  • to get more information on human research subject protections

However, if you have questions about a particular study and how to do any part of it, or to report an injury, please contact the researcher listed on your Informed Consent.
