First-year residents receive a $5,000 (pre-tax) signing bonus upon entry into the residency program to defray moving expenses. The actual amount will be less, depending on prevailing tax rates.
Meals
All meals are provided while in the hospital, seven days a week. Residents can choose from the quiet, private Doctor's Dining room or a traditional cafeteria and general dining environment.
Insurance
Life, health and professional liability insurance are provided.
Short-term disability insurance benefit provided ( Max Benefit: $350.00 per week, payable after 14 day waiting period for up to 26 weeks).

Educational Books, Software and Technology
The resident receives $300 per year for approved educational materials.
American Board of Family Medicine Exam
The program will pay exam costs for graduating residents taking the exam at the first opportunity.
Free Fitness Facility Membership
Residents receive a paid membership to Premier Health & Fitness Center, which includes a complete range of exercise activities and equipment for every interest and level of ability. A professional exercise specialist can help you get the most from your training. This fully-equipped facility offers:

Conferences
PGY-I: | $1,000 plus five days |

Conference time is in addition to vacation time.
Other
Consultation is provided regarding agreements and contracts for future employment during the third year by the hospital attorney.
