About Coach Brooke Wyckoff
Coach Brooke Wyckoff is a women’s basketball legend at FSU and a breast cancer survivor. She has used her voice to advocate on behalf of others facing breast cancer and to raise awareness and funds to support breast cancer initiatives.
She is coming off a successful 2024-25 season and has continued to increase the prominence of the women’s basketball program at FSU.
Wyckoff helped sparked the rise of the Florida State women’s basketball as a standout player on the court from 1997 to 2001. Ten years later, she returned to the Seminoles, joining Coach Sue Semrau’s revamped staff beginning in the 2011-12 season.
On March 29, 2022, Wyckoff was officially named Florida State Women’s Basketball’s ninth head coach. Since then, she has continued to grow FSU’s program, guiding the Seminoles to the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in 2022-23 and 2023-24, as well as developing national standout players including Ta'Niya Latson, Makayla Timpson, O'Mariah Gordon, and Sara Bejedi.
Wyckoff has one daughter, Avery, and is married to Jose Ramon Esmoris. TMH is honored to have her as this year’s speaker.
